  • Esports Summer Camp

    The STMA summer esports camp is designed to provide an enriching and immersive experience for high school and middle school age students interested in the rapidly growing world of esports. Tailored specifically for younger gamers, this program offers an exciting opportunity for participants to explore and engage in competitive gaming within a collegiate esports center setting hosted at North Central University's esports arena! Participants are able to choose from 3 days where different games will be the focus of instruction. Wednesday will include Rocket League and Super Smash Bros Thursday will include League of Legends and Fortnite Friday will include Valorant NCU will provide lunch but students are welcome to bring their own cold lunch if they would like. Transportation to NCU's Campus will be provided. Please arrive to the STMA HS at least 10 minutes before the scheduled departure at 8am.
  • F.A.S.T. Kids – Staying Safe While Home Alone

    First Aid and Safety Trained Kids is a 4-hour course for 7 – 10 year olds. This course helps prepare children for staying safe at and away from home. Lessons cover basic first aid, water safety, vehicle safety, home emergencies, injury prevention, stranger and internet safety. Students will receive a book, handouts and a home first aid kit as part of the class. Please bring a snack and a beverage to class.

    Fall Tackle Football Grades 2-6 (2024-2025 School Year) Community Education and STMA Football are co-sponsoring two different fall tackle football programs. The goal of both programs is to provide a positive experience for students as they develop football skills, knowledge & sportsmanship. Parents and Players will have a choice between ‘In-House’ and ‘Travel’ Football. Note, ‘Travel’ Football is new this year to STMA and is open to players in Grades 3-6 for the Fall of 2024 (current 2nd-5th Graders). For more information on the differences Between In-House and Travel Football, please visit www.stmafootball.com *In-House Football: 2nd & 3rd graders will play Flag Football. 4th graders will play a modified game of Flag and Tackle football using Tacklebar equipment.     Football Camps (Grades 2-11) Register using the grade your student is in during the 2023-24 school year. Instructor: Varsity Coach Essler and staff Football Questions: Contact Coach Essler at jarede@mystma.org High School Students: Follow Coach Essler’s weekly communication updates for exact start times and locations. Football Camp (Grades 2-5) Coach Essler & varsity players will teach basic offensive and defensive football concepts and fundamentals. Players will be divided into a 2nd/3rd grade group and a 4th/5th grade group. Football equipment will not be issued. Football/baseball cleats are recommended, but not mandatory. Participants will receive a Football. Bring tennis or basketball shoes each day. 333U1 (Grades 2-5) July 29-Aug. 1 (M-Th) 5:00pm-6:30pm Camp will be at HS Stadium. If it rains we will be in the Activity Center. Fee: $38 Football Camp (Grades 6 & 7) The STMA football staff will teach basic offensive, defensive and special teams football concepts and fundamentals. Camp will end each day with ‘Ultimate Football’ competition games. 6th & 7th graders will practice and compete together. Each camper will receive a Knights Football. No equipment will be issued. Football/baseball cleats are recommended but not mandatory. Bring tennis/basketball shoes each day as there will be an indoor weight room session. We will end camp on Thursday with pizza. Note: This camp conflicts with summer weight room times; to compensate for this, participants will have a weight room session built into camp 3 days this week. Fee: $68 High School Summer Football Grades 8-11 The STMA football staff will teach & install offensive and defensive concepts of football in preparation for the 2024 Fall Season. There are two parts to our summer football camps: Monday Night Football and Team Camp. Monday Night Football will have 7 on 7 and Hogs Camp (OL/DL) running separately and simultaneously. Registration for classes 333U4 and 333U5 includes our HS Team Camp and Mini-Camp sessions. Coach Essler will communicate specific start times for each camp on a weekly basis. Questions? INTERMEDIATE GYMNASTICS (Girls age 6 + & passed Beginner) In this class, the gymnast will learn more advanced skills. To attend this class the gymnasts must be able to perform a cartwheel on floor, demonstrate jumps in a tuck, pike and straight position, show confidence and strength on uneven bars and beam. Required: A leotard or form fitted clothing with NO stocking feet and hair pulled away from the face with a snug hairpiece.   • Intro to BMX Racing

    Explore BMX racing basics at Crow River BMX! From learning about gear to riding techniques, progress through riding, racing, and skill-building over four weeks. Enjoy open rides following each session in a supportive, family-friendly atmosphere. Parents are encouraged to be present during class. After each lesson, the Crow River BMX track opens to the public from 6:30-8:00pm for their Community Open Ride. Students are welcome to stay and attend at no extra cost. Students are required to wear a cycle helmet (free to rent) and close-toed shoes. Please wear long sleeves and pants, or shorts with appropriate knee pads.
