St. Michael-Albertville Community Education

• There will be two (2) In-Person Driver's Education Class Options offered in Winter 2026
• Classes will be at STMA High School, Room 1685 (enter Door C, Activity Center entrance)
• Attendance is taken daily
• No one is allowed to miss the first day of class without Instructor's prior approval
• Students must attend all 30 classroom hours to move forward in obtaining their driver license (required by State of MN/DVS)
• Students must download a copy of the Minnesota Class D Driver's License Manual on a smart device
  • The manual is used daily in class

• No refunds will be allowed 5 days before class start date
• There will be an Optional Parent/Guardian AND Student Presentation scheduled in winter
  • The time is yet to be determined
  • Both the parent/guardian AND student must attend this meeting to be eligible to log 40 hours rather than 50 hours of supervised driving

Option 1:  Students must be 15 years old by July 5, 2026
Option 2:  Students must be 15 years old by August 23, 2026

Class Times for both options are 3:30pm - 6:30pm

* Make-Up Session for students selecting Option 1:  Thursday, February 5, 2026
** Make-Up Session for students selecting Option 2: Tuesday, March 24, 2026
(only students who need to make-up time will be required to attend)

Class Location: High School, Room 1685 (Enter and Pick-up at Door C)
Cost: $410 (includes 30 classroom hours and six (6) hours of Behind-the-Wheel (BTW) instruction)
