6-8th Grade Middle School Marching Band
Middle School Marching Band Grades 6 - 8Strike up the Marching Band! STMA is offering an introductory marching band experience for young musicians. This group is open to any band student enrolled in 6-8th Grade band during 2021-2022 school year. Students should have two years of playing experience. Students learn the basics of marching and prepare music to perform in the Albertville Friendly City Days Parade. Rehearsals will take place June 6-10 at Middle School West from 9:30-12:00. We will have a color guard section to enhance the musical performance with flags and a banner (pending enrollment). Students in the colorguard do not have to play a musical instrument to participate. The colorguard is open to any 6-8th grader. Students will march in the Albertville Friendly City Days parade, June 12th. Students will be involved in the parade for approximately 2 hours. More information will follow based on our position in the parade route. Students will wear a camp t-shirt, black shorts and tennis shoes for the parade.Please Note: T Shirts have already been ordered for this program. Early Childhood Family Education is a program to connect families within the STMA community. ECFE offers classes, separating and non-separating for children ages birth through five and their families.
Kids Play is a school age child care program for children Kindergarten through 4th grade. Just 4 Kids program is for children who are 4 years old by Sept. 1.
