    All Ages Non Separating Explore our great community of STMA through the eyes of your child. We will ride the school bus around town, making stops at local destinations. Maybe a trip to the library to check out a book, stop at the park, or learn about local stores and places of business. A terrific way for your child to experience the bus first-hand.

  • Early Childhood Screening Monday, May 20th

    Please select one time slot for your child. Appointments last approximately one hour. Paperwork can be complete prior to date by downloading the HERE. Otherwise, forms will be available at the site. Screening is a FREE service for all children. At screening, parents learn more about their child’s development and can ask questions regarding concerns. Screening is a brief, simple procedure used to identify potential health or developmental problems in infants and young children who may need a health assessment, diagnostic assessment or educational evaluation. Screening in early childhood supports children’s readiness for kindergarten and promotes health and development. Screening includes : vision and hearing, height and weight, immunization review, large and small muscle development, cognitive thinking, language and communication skills, social and emotional development. If a parent is a conscientious objector to the screening program for their child, the child does not need to participate in the state screening but required forms are to be completed. Early Childhood Screening is often called Kindergarten Screening. Screenings are held at STMA Community Education Center in St. Michael.
