Middle School Percussion Ensemble

WS 2023
Middle School Percussion Ensemble is open to percussionists in grades 6 - 8 with at least one year of playing experience in band. Non-percussionists with formal piano training are also strongly encouraged to join!
Participants will learn and perform a variety of music while exploring different instruments in the percussion family including snare drum, mallet instruments, timpani, hand percussion…and more!
Rehearsals will take place in the Middle School West band room on Tuesdays from 7:15 AM - 8:00 AM. Dates for rehearsals: March 14, March 21, March 28, April 11, April 18, April 25, May 2 and May 9. The ensemble will perform at a concert on Tuesday, May 9.
Bussing is not available in the AM from MSW to MSE. Parent Transportation would be required.
